Although he joined the Air Force straight out of high school he continued to play joining the group Conspiracy while stationed in England. After being deployed to Albuquerque, New Mexico, he formed the band PHYR.

During the late 1980’s and throughout the 1990’s Bill headlined as his own country act and enjoyed great success on the fairs and festival circuit throughout Ohio.  During the early 90’s, he also spent time writing and recording in Nashville.

Since that time he has worked with various groups and playing many different genres of music, including rock, blues, country and jazz.
